Philip Salatrik hosts The Salatrik Collection every Wednesday from noon to two pm. Spinning a 100% vinyl collection that was started in 1994 after inheriting a stack of scratchy Motown 45s, this collection has expanded to include music from all corners of the world. Based on a theory that all popular music is folk music, The Salatrik Collection explores traditional folk music from around the world as it paves its way into contemporary efforts both obscure and mainstream.
