Bio
Ameera is a local Singer-Songwriter and recording artist, best known for her work with Metro Detroit based Rock band The Plutophonics. An avid supporter of the local music scene, Ameera is currently sitting Vice President for SB Music Alliance Group, the group responsible for organizing Corktown Music Festival. She hopes to use her work with SBMAG to create safe spaces for and advocate on behalf of fellow local musicians. Ameera’s musical taste is expansive and full of surprises. Touching on anywhere from Experimental Rock to Classical to Pop and beyond.
